We've had several amazing people volunteer their time and skills to help us build this spiritual retreat. From friends, family, church family, and local neighbors, we've been beyond blessed with help! A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and finances.
Oak and Sparrow Cabin in the Woods
We've noticed it's becoming increasingly challenging to "Be still, and know God" in our culture where busy schedules and screen time fight for our attention. It takes great intentionality to separate from the noise of the world in order to be still and hear God's voice. Oak and Sparrow Ministry exists to provide an environment where our guests can personally experience Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God.”

We’ve just finished building the Oak + Sparrow spiritual retreat located in the Green Mountain National Forest in southern Vermont. We chose this secluded location specifically for this ministry because of it’s natural beauty and disconnect from the busyness of life.
The post-and-beam cabin is 320 sq. ft. plus a sleeping loft. It may be small, however it won’t feel tiny. We’ve designed the cabin with many large windows, a vaulted ceiling, a sleeping loft, wood stove, spiral staircase, a full sized kitchen and bath, and screened in porch. It’s furnished with modern designs, yet reflects the surrounding natural environment. Peaceful, clean, and cozy.
